Video: Ivete Sangalo appears in the hospital and makes a strong statement: ‘The matter is serious’

On Monday, the 5th, Ivete Sangalo posted a video on her social media where she appears in the hospital, but don’t worry, it’s nothing serious. The singer just went for some routine exams, such as an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. And, as always, with that good humor that is characteristic of her, Ivete shared a bit of her day in the hospital, showing behind the scenes and putting everyone at ease.

In the video, Ivete jokes and explains everything in a relaxed way. “Today was the day to take care of my health. I scheduled my endoscopy and colonoscopy. I took this liquid, which looks like grape juice, to help my intestines and do the exam properly. Here is my serum, lying down and waiting for the medicine to take effect,” she said. The singer also commented on the funny situation that happened while she was there: “Suddenly, something strange started, I got up and walked around stealthily so my husband wouldn’t see. He was there studying, and I just walked around thinking ‘what’s happening to me, guys?!’ Then, when I saw it, I went to the bathroom and told him: ‘I need to go there.’ I went into the bathroom and quickly sorted out an email… Then, everything was fine, email sent successfully!”, she explained, making her fans laugh.

Despite the lighthearted nature of the video, Ivete made sure to emphasize the seriousness of the subject. In the caption, she also warned about the importance of preventive exams. “The video is very lighthearted, but what I’m talking about is very serious. Since I turned 45, I’ve been doing these preventive exams as a way of taking care of my health. Endoscopy and colonoscopy are very important exams,” wrote the singer.

These exams are essential for preventing serious diseases of the digestive system. Endoscopy, for example, is performed to investigate stomach problems, such as gastritis, reflux and even ulcers, and can even detect stomach cancer. Colonoscopy, on the other hand, is aimed at examining the large intestine and is essential for preventing colorectal cancer, which, unfortunately, is one of the most common types of cancer in Brazil. With this exam, it is possible to identify and even remove polyps that, if left untreated, could turn into more serious tumors in the future.

Ivete also took the opportunity to remind people that prevention is the best way to take care of your health. Although many people feel afraid or uncomfortable about undergoing these exams, she assured them that the procedure is painless, and the most important thing is to follow your doctor’s instructions and take care of yourself. She emphasized that by undergoing these exams regularly, it is possible to detect any changes in the body early, which greatly increases the chances of treatment and a cure.

So, even with Ivete’s characteristic humor, the message was clear: taking care of your health and having regular preventive exams is something we should all take seriously. After all, prevention is always the best way to ensure a healthier life and avoid future complications.
