I wish dogs never knew how painful it feels to have their hearts broken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanford, a Pit Bull mix, felt deeply sad after his owners dumped him at a park and turned their back on him forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luckily, a kind-hearted family found him and they contacted\u00a0Rockdale County Animal Shelter\u00a0in Georgia who took him in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the family fell in love with the lovely pup, they returned to the shelter and filled out an adoption application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kind people visited Stanford at his kennel. As they kissed him goodbye and promised to take him home soon, the pup\u2019s heart became filled with happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, things didn\u2019t go according to plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanford Has His Heart Broken Again<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Stanford saw the family approaching his kennel, he stood on his back legs and stuck his paws through the kennel bars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pup looked at them with hopeful eyes, pleading them to take him home.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, the family came to say goodbye to Stanford and to tell him that they were unable to give him what he wanted the most\u2026 a loving home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since their rental property didn\u2019t permit dogs, the wonderful family had no other choice but to give up on Stanford.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey had to see Stanford one last time and explain why they couldn\u2019t bring him home. Their last goodbye was painful \u2026\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Humans and Animals United\u00a0wrote in\u00a0a Facebook post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pup\u2019s eyes became filled with tears as he kept watching the family walk away. His heart was broken for the second time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanford kept waiting for them at the shelter, thinking that they would come back for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pup Needs Rescuing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, Stanford\u2019s number was placed on the euthanasia list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sorrowful dog withdrew in the corner of his kennel, bent his head, and turned his face to the wall.<\/strong> He seemed to have given up on himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, destiny had a surprise for the brokenhearted pooch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rescuers at Humans and Animals United, an animal rescue based in Florida, heard about Stanford and they felt heartbroken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good-hearted people knew they had to do whatever it took to help him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the rescue team worked hard and succeeded in finding Stanford a foster home, <\/strong>the volunteers rushed to the Rockdale Animal Shelter to pick the canine up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling Hopeful About The Future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The canine was excited to leave his kennel and step outside the shelter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His eyes shined with joy and he began wagging his tail. Stanford realized that he was free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staffers were moved to tears as they watched the dog\u2019s face beam with happiness. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur boy left the shelter today in the happiest of spirits! He knew this was the start to his new life! There are no words to describe it,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Humans and Animals United wrote on\u00a0Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The volunteers drove him to the clinic where he was given a complete medical checkup. After he was medically cleared, the pooch moved into his foster home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His foster family showed him kindness and gave him a lot of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pup felt lucky because his love was finally reciprocated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the pooch loves spending time with his fosters, he dreams about finding his permanent home and showering his forever parents with love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that Stanford will soon realize his greatest dream. After all the heartbreaks the pup endured, he deserves to attain happiness and feel immensely loved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
