Family is an incredible thing\u2014being related to someone is a bond that lasts no matter where you are or how far you are apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what two little dogs proved after they instantly recognized each other on the street\u2026 because they were from the same litter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two cockapoos, Monty and Rosie, might not look immediately like siblings\u2014they have completely opposite coats, one white and one black\u2014but they were born to the same litter last summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere were six of them,\u201d Rosie\u2019s owner Susan Killip told\u00a0The Dodo. \u201cBut Monty and Rosie were always together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susan adopted Rosie and a friend nearby adopted Monty. Despite living close by, they lost touch\u2026 until a fateful walk brought them together again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two dogs immediately recognized her and happily embraced. It was far more loving than how stranger dogs react when they pass each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was so lovely, they both just jumped up and hugged each other,\u201d Susan said. \u201cIt was amazing they remembered each other after 10 months of not seeing each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the owners took a few photos of the adorable scene, and the story went viral after someone posted the\u00a0photos to Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was clear there is still a lot of love between these two long-lost siblings\u2026 and their owners knew they couldn\u2019t keep them apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will keep in touch,\u201d Susan told The Dodo. \u201c[It\u2019s] a bit difficult at the moment, but after this is all over, we\u2019ll be having doggy walkies together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
