Who doesn\u2019t love Meat Loaf? For a generation that grew up with Bat Out of Hell<\/em>, there\u2019s nothing like the memories of driving around listening to \u201cParadise by the Dashboard Lights\u201d or belting out \u201cI\u2019d Do Anything for Love\u201d at karaoke.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the late megastar musician, who passed away in 2022, did much more than record hit singles \u2014 one time, he helped save a life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ou see a lot of crazy things on the road as a rock star, but while touring with his band in 2015, Meat Loaf saw something shocking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a rehearsal for a show in New Mexico, the band found a puppy abandoned in a dumpster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So the crew took her out of the dumpster and rescued her, saving her life and giving her the care she needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They took her to the vet to restore her health, but also gave this poor puppy a treat many classic rock fans dream of: she got to tour with the band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meat Loaf joked on Facebook that the puppy was \u201cadjusting to life on the road,\u201d and posted photos of her chilling in the star\u2019s lap, posing with the guitars, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alas, the rock star life isn\u2019t meant for a young puppy: while they grew to love her, Meat Loaf and the crew knew they had to find her a forever home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it sounds like this puppy ended up in the perfect place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll miss her but she\u2019s on her way to her new momma and sisters and a big ole ranch to run around,\u201d Meat Loaf wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the puppy may be gone, she\u2019ll always be a part of the band:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re even more excited that she\u2019s staying a part of the extended Meat Loaf family forever!!!\u201d Meat Loaf wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a story! Meat Loaf has sadly since passed away, but we\u2019ll remember him both for his music and his kindness to animals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
