However, this will not be the only state affected, as Sonora will also experience very heavy rains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forecast indicates that storms caused by Raymond will produce 150 millimeters of rain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Baja California Sur<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sonora<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Of 75 millimeters of<\/strong>&nbsp;water in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chihuahua<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Durango<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sinaloa<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nayarit<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>From 50 millimeters in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Baja California<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/heraldodemexico.com.mx\/u\/fotografias\/m\/2025\/10\/9\/f768x1-1194092_1194219_5050.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All forecasted rainfall could be accompanied by lightning; it will reduce visibility on stretches of roads and in urban areas; it could also cause&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>puddles, landslides, flooding, and rising river and stream levels<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cold front will also enter Baja California<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Raymond will bring&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>waves of up to 3.5 meters high to the coasts of Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, and Nayarit; and waves of 1.5 to 2.5<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;meters high to the coasts of Baja California, so swimming, wading, and boating should be avoided along the coasts of these states.
