The heiress of the late “King of Pop” opened up about her struggles with addiction and depression. Details of a turbulent life.
In a shocking and candid interview with<\/em>   Rolling Stone magazine, Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, revealed that she attempted    suicide several times due to severe depression<\/strong>    and that she was    raped by a stranger at age 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Paris, now 18, made headlines for a suicide attempt in 2013, the superstar’s daughter revealed it wasn’t a one-time occurrence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I tried to commit suicide several times<\/strong>   ,” the young woman told the aforementioned publication. In June of that year, mired in depression and drug addiction, she attempted suicide by slitting her wrists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suicidal thoughts began after her father’s death in 2009. “They always say time heals, but it really doesn’t. You just get used to it,” she explained to the publication.    “I lost what mattered most to me. (\u2026) So, from now on, nothing bad can happen. (\u2026) I feel it with me all the time<\/strong>   .”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris also self-harmed. She covered many of the scars she still has on her body with some of her 50 tattoos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Far from those difficult times, Paris reflects: \u201cI hated myself. I thought I couldn’t do anything right, that life wasn’t worth living anymore.    I did a lot of things a girl shouldn’t do. I tried to grow up too quickly, and I wasn’t that kind of person<\/strong>   .\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chanel’s new face, who long struggled with addiction and depression, also suffered sexual abuse at age 14. Although she declined to elaborate on the incident, she said she was attacked by a stranger.    “It wasn’t a good experience at all, and it was very difficult for me. I didn’t tell anyone at the time.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pop icon had Paris and her older brother, Prince, with Debbie Rowe, a patient he was married to for several years. Years later, Jackson had his third child, Blanket, with a surrogate mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Jackson protected his children so much from media harassment that they even wore masks in public. At a tribute following the singer’s death, Paris, then 11, surprised the audience by taking the stage and saying that Michael was    “the best father you could ever imagine.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the  Rolling Stone<\/em> interview   , the model and aspiring actress
said she was \u201cabsolutely\u201d convinced the \u201cThriller\u201d singer was murdered, and pointed to doctor Conrad Munrray as one of the main people responsible for the musician\u2019s untimely death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe was hinting that someone was trying to get him. And at one point, he said, ‘One day they’ll kill me,’\u201d she said. \u201cIt sounds like a conspiracy theory and a lie, but the real fans and family know. He was framed. It was all a lie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if that weren’t enough, Paris promises that one day she will avenge the death of the man she loved most: ”   It’s like a game of chess. I try to play it well. And that’s all I can say right now<\/strong>   .”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
