It&#8217;s also advisable to drink water before meals to prepare your digestive system, and, to a lesser extent, during meals to avoid diluting gastric juices too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avoiding excessive water consumption just before bed is another healthy habit, as it can disrupt your night&#8217;s rest due to the urge to go to the bathroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, it&#8217;s best to listen to your body. Factors such as age, physical activity level, and climate affect our water needs. There&#8217;s no one-size-fits-all amount, although a general guideline suggests 6 to 8 glasses daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, beyond the quantity, drinking adequate water is key to maintaining energy, aiding digestion, caring for your skin, and supporting vital bodily functions.
