As per the\u00a0Daily Mail, Goldberg had previously admitted to taking the drug Mounjaro to help her lose weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Whoopi is so much happier now that she\u2019s not 300lbs. Goldberg accessorized with a pair of sparkling silver earrings and a matching necklace. Her makeup for the special evening noticeably included a light matte tint on her lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having hosted the prestigious event four times herself, Goldberg was no stranger at the venue. She was accompanied this year by her daughter, Alexandrea Martin, 51. She first revealed that she had used Mounjaro in March 2024, during a conversation on &#8216;The View&#8217; about Oprah Winfrey\u2019s special &#8216;Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution&#8217;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI weighed almost 300 pounds when I made &#8216;Till,&#8217;\u201d Goldberg said of the 2022 film she produced and starred in, per\u00a0Woman&#8217;s World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI had taken all these steroids, and I was on all this stuff, and one of the things that\u2019s helped me drop the weight is Mounjaro. That\u2019s what I used,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Whoopi Goldberg trolled over drastic weight loss<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many on the social media platform X were critical of Whoopi Goldberg and called her out for undergoing weight loss with the help of medication.
